Polishing Fixtures
AccuLap™ Polishing Fixture 2.5mm
AMPT-010
The AccuLap™ fiber optic polishing tool will polish most 2.5mm ferruled connectors including ST, SC, and FC connectors. Because the AccuLap™ fiber optic polishing tool is made of hardened tungsten, it will not grind away during polishing. Plastic and stainless steel fixtures leave actual fixture material on the polishing surface that can contaminate the connector and fiber end-face increasing dB loss. Keeping fixture material off of polishing films will allow you to use 5 to 10 times less polishing paper. The center hole diameter is held to 2 ten-thousandths of an inch.
