Connectors
Single Terminus Connectors
The highly durable field mountable connector for light-duty, tactical, single fiber connections. These ST connectors are qualified to Mil-C-83522 military specifications and listed on the Military's QPL (Qualified Products List). They are ideally suited for the harsh, unprotected environments of aircraft, spacecraft, shipboard and land–based applications. In the locking model, a locking ring helps prevent accidental optical disconnect making the connector less sensitive to cable movement and mechanical shock. In all models, a keyed bayonet latch provides easy engagement and disengagement. The zirconia tip helps ensure stability and loss repeatability. A military part number identifies each connector. All connectors include a template that contains the correct stripping dimensions.
